The day began with reflecting, learning, and honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. The students paid respects to Dr. King and Mrs. Coretta Scott King, sat in the pews of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, and sang for fellow King Center patrons.

Then it was off to the Georgia Aquarium – the largest aquarium in the United States – to see the whale sharks, the giant manta rays, and the beluga whales.

Our dinner-turned-dance-party left the wait staff at the Hard Rock Café Atlanta smiling and dancing for the rest of their shifts, and park-goers in Centennial Park were treated to a song as the sun went down.
