October 5, 2019: Hundreds of people from around the community came together at the Sullivant Gardens Recreation Center for a day of service, kindness, music, art, celebration, and of course, SO MUCH FUN!

We worked hard in the morning to beautify the Center, with the support of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department and Lowe’s Home Improvement, and hundreds of Harmony Project volunteers.

And then it was time to CELEBRATE!! We broke for lunch and cupcakes. Then the Sunny 95 – Columbus, OH Treat Truck came by with Dairy Queen Dilly Bars. And after we had lunch, the kids played soccer with Sporting Columbus using their BRAND NEW EQUIPMENT. We danced with DJ BHB and TRANSIT ARTS, took photos with The Foto Bar, painted pumpkins from Lynd Fruit Farm, decorated Halloween masks, and bounced all around in the bounce house. And throughout the whole day, we all added some paint to the new community mural designed by Jarvis Art Studio Inc.

We are so incredibly grateful to all of our partners who made the day possible. We’re grateful for our new friends in the Sullivant and South Franklinton Community, who have welcomed us into their amazing corner of our city. We’re grateful to Kind Columbus of The Columbus Foundation, who constantly help make days like this possible. And we are OH so grateful for the thousands of people who have been part of our mission and work over the last decade.

Celebrating the last ten years, and looking forward to all the years to come.
