Service is at the heart of Harmony Project’s mission. Individuals participating in our programming do so without auditions and without fees. In return, each individual must commit to serving the community no less than 8 hours per season, or 16 hours per year.
Each year, One Week, One Neighborhood brings people from across the city together – across social, cultural, economic, educational, geographic, religious, and political divides – to build a kinder, stronger, and more inclusive community.
2019’s One Week, One Neighborhood took place from May 4 to May 12. Hundreds of volunteers served in four under-served communities in our city: the South Side, South Franklinton, Northland, and the King-Lincoln District. The work impacted individuals, families, and community-based organizations representing every dimension of our community’s diversity.
