King-Lincoln

20 Volunteers. 1 Project. 1 Day.

The King-Lincoln District is the birthplace of Harmony Project. Hosting its first-ever performance for two nights of packed houses, Harmony Project also hosted its rehearsals in the Lincoln Theatre ballroom until 2018 when it relocated to the Northland Performing Arts Center (NPAC). Harmony continues to use the Lincoln Theatre for special events and smaller programs, and calls the ground floor office spaces home.

Harmony served as a key partner in the revitalization of the Lincoln Theatre, raising money to purchase a grand piano for the Theatre in 2009. Each spring, Harmony Project volunteers work to beautify the grounds of the Lincoln Theatre by tending to the landscape beds, pruning hedges, and painting the curbs in the parking lot.
