HandsOn Central Ohio links community members to a wide range of resources and services including food and meals, healthcare, mental health services, housing and utility assistance, adult and youth care, and other specialized resources.

The Community Shelter Board Street Card is designed to provide homeless persons with information about local services, including mental health, substance abuse, healthcare, veterans assistance, youth assistance, and outreach.

IMPACT Community Action provides several resources and opportunities for self-sufficiency, often for those facing poverty. Services include utility bill and rent/mortgage assistance, furniture banks, transportation, and workforce development assistance.

Education Service Center of Central Ohio AmeriCorps Mentoring Program (Online Tutoring)
The ESCCO has an AmeriCorps mentoring program that works with 5th-12th graders. The contact person for that program, AmeriCorps Mentors for Success, is Kevin Lissemore, kevin.lissemore@escco.org. Please reach out to him if you are in need of online tutoring for students in grades 5-12.

ODH has put together a variety of helpful resources and suggestions for how to manage anxiety during the Coronavirus crisis. If you’re interested in accessing these resources, click here.

Ohio Citizen Advocates for Addiction Recovery Weekly Statewide Meditation is hosting a statewide meditation via Facebook Live for about 30 minutes every Wednesday at 7:30pm. To access their Facebook page, click here.

Youth Yoga Project is providing Access to free yoga and mindfulness resources, particularly for youth. Free resources include the following:
1. Practice with videos and resources on their YouTube channel
2. Download their Mindful Toolbox of breathing practices
3. Use the code YOGAATHOME for a 20% discount on all their instructional materials through April 27.

Greater Columbus Arts Council Grants for Emergency Relief for Artists
The Greater Columbus Arts Council has developed emergency grants for artists impacted by COVID-19 via loss of income or cancelled events. Priority for grant approval is being given to those with direct need for shelter, food, and other essentials. PromoWest Productions – Payment for Artists for Live Performances online
